Mickey Mouse is a global icon. 2018 marks 90 years since his first appearance in Steamboat Mickey. To celebrate, Disney has partnered with Instagram to create an exclusive augmented reality experience.
The AR filter allows followers of @Disney on Instagram to wear the iconic Mickey ears from through the ages — from grainy black-and-white, through to a modern rose-gold. Posing with a friend unlocks an appearance from Minnie Mouse too.
The experience showcases the latest capabilities of Spark AR, Facebook’s augmented reality platform.
