We partnered with Warp Records and HelloMe to relaunch the iconic Warp.net.See the project
The relaunch of Warp.net adapts the label’s online presence for today’s globally connected audience. It combines a minimalist design with a content-first approach, and a particular focus on mobile users.
It's the first update to the site since 2009, and includes news and information about Warp artists, catalogue, releases, and events.
Warp.net is fully commerce-enabled and integrated with Warp’s own Bleep store.
Stinkdigital designed and developed bespoke page layouts that adapt to meet the unique needs of each artist, and encourage exploration of Warp’s extensive catalogue. The Warp branding on each page can be altered to ensure each individual artists brand are weighted appropriately in relation to the label. Warp controls this flexibility via a custom-built CMS that we also developed to support the relaunch.
Media on the site is served through a bespoke Universal Media Player, which aggregates content from Rdio, YouTube and SoundCloud with more third-party services being added soon.
As part of the 25th anniversary re-brand, Berlin-based design studio HelloMe was also commissioned to create an extensive repositioning of Warp’s visual identity. This included a contemporary version of the iconic Purple that’s been synonymous with the brand for the last two and a half decades, alongside a custom version of the Favorit typeface.
